The CÁRITAS project is an innovative and advanced system designed to transform migration data management and social assistance operations. Aiming to modernize the work of humanitarian organizations, the CÁRITAS system combines social technology with user-centered design to offer an efficient solution adapted to the specific needs of aid organizations and organizations that work with vulnerable populations. Developed to address the complex challenges of migration monitoring, the system integrates detailed registration of families and individuals, a complete record of categorized services and advanced analytical tools, including dashboards with migration flow maps that allow viewing trends and optimizing the distribution of resources.
The platform was structured with hierarchical access control at three levels (national, regional and local), allowing different social agents to have visibility appropriate to their areas of activity. The system offers a complete registry of beneficiaries with specific fields for migration documentation, a detailed record of services by sector and category, management of Cáritas actions with control of participants and photographic documentation, as well as analytical reports that facilitate decision-making strategic. The architecture was designed to guarantee the confidentiality and security of sensitive data, meeting the most rigorous standards for protecting the personal information of people in vulnerable situations.
